JENNIFER BOREN

Jennifer Boren has performed in more than 70 ballets in the U.S. and abroad. She trained with Miguel Terekhov and Yvonne Chouteau of the Ballet Russe on scholarship at the University of Oklahoma, and continued her studies in New York, Paris, and London. She danced professionally with Tulsa Ballet Theatre, toured throughout Europe in the Weinner Ballet Theatre's Swan Lake, and toured Taiwan with "Superstars of the Russian Ballet". Jennifer has performed as guest artist throughout the U.S. and has danced numerous principal roles in such ballets as The Nutcracker, Giselle, Swan Lake, Coppelia, Raymonda, The Firebird, Pas de Six, Concerto Barocco, Serenade, Pas de Quatre, Walpurgis Night, Fantasies, Cakewalk, Les Patineurs, Petrouchka and Dracula. She also recently placed first in Theatre Arts in the People's Choice ballroom competition in Scottsdale, Arizona, with her partner, Joseph Gonzales. Jennifer currently enjoys teaching throughout New Mexico and is a principal with Ballet Repertory Theatre and New Mexico Ballet Company.
