JENNIFER ROWLEY

Jennifer Rowley started her dance training at age 3; by age 10, she was dancing with graduating seniors. At her teacher's recommendation she began studying with Boston Ballet, where she performed children's roles in The Nutcracker and A Midsummer Night's Dream. At age 12, she began studying Balanchine technique at the Ballet Workshop school under Jacqueline Cronsberg. She also joined the Massachusetts Youth Ballet, where she performed in Pas de Quartre, Concerto Borocco, Ramona Variations, Paquita, Don Quixote, and others. At age 16 she was invited to attend the School of American Ballet on scholarship, where she continued to study Balanchine technique with Suki Shorer, Susan Pilarre, Richard Rapp, Stanley Williams, and Kay Mazzo. She performed in Balanchine's Symphony in Three Movements for the 1997 SAB workshop. Jennifer continued to study and teach ballet while earning a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts (Boston) and an M.B.A. from Simmons College. This is Jennifer's first season with BRT.
